The relative importance of various job resources for work engagement: A concurrent and follow-up dominance analysis

Job resources are known to be key drivers of work engagement, but surprisingly, little is about the relative importance specific job in comparison one another. We investigated eight both cross-sectionally and over a 3-year time period. hypothesized that at task level “universally” important contribute relatively more engagement than other types resources. employed dominance analyses large cross-sectional data set ( N = 11,468 from 87 organizations), focusing specifically on 11 jobs, two-wave 2,334). Three emerged as most for concurrent future across jobs samples: skill discretion, feedback, team empowerment.
